Absa Bank: Estate Matters

A few years ago my Dad passed away.

Absa bank was the Executioner of the Estate. Earlier this Year we were contacted by Alexander Forbes regarding an unclaimed benefit due to us.

They (Forbes) needs a copy of the Letter of Authority which is in the posession of Absa bank to process the claim.

Unfortunately, no matter who I contact ( I have made contact with the Estates department, where I just keep on getting reffered to another person).

Everytime they want to register a New Estate...

So I am going to try One More Time:

Dear ABSA Bank.

My Dad passed away a few Years ago and YOU were the Executioner of the Estate.

I need a copy of the Original Letter of Authority from the High Court that YOU used to Execute the Estate, because there is an unclaimed benefit at Alexander Forbes.

I have all the relevant documentation at hand.

Is that so difficult?
