ABSA BANK DEBIT ORDER ADMIN CHARGES

I had noticed that an amount of R1650 went of as admin charges from my bank account, I queried this with ABSA they said its due to unpaid debit orders, this was 11 unpaid debit orders that went of my account. Our pay date is usually the 25 of the month, Because the 25 fell on a saturday the pay only reflected on 27 June in the account. Not sure why the debit orders went off, as my understanding is that debit orders does not generally go off on a Saturday. I spoke to a gentlemen named Charles, He explained the issue and then confirmed he can assist only with R650. Which in my opinion thats not fair, as this was my grocery money for the month. I have been a client with ABSA for the past 15 years, this is the service they will to give me, Charles then eventually escalated the issue, Its been a few days no response. I called the bank in 4 August to find out what the outcome was, Charles confirmed that they decided not to refund me at all. I made mentioned that i have been a loyal client to ABSA for years, I even have most of our things financed through them, He just said sorry. I told Charles, if this is the service i received, i would rather change banks as there interest is very high on charges. He said thats fine. Digusted, Disappointed with the outcome and services of ABSA, I will be going to find myself a new bank,
