ABSA BANK BULLYING OLD PEOPLE

Ouma is 86 and very deaf - as old people are. She phoned this morning is a panic - her ABSA Savings card declined - it has expired - "I cannot pay my thingis". After phoning the ABSA Help Line (very helpful lady), she informed us to take Ouma to an ABSA branch - she has to appear in person. The ABSA branches are geared for old people - she will get preferential treatment and would not have to wait in the queue. WHAT A SURPRISE!!!! I took Ouma from the old age home to ABSA Brooklyn. Ouma sat in the queue. I found the manager Mr Keleabetswe Motiang and explained to him what the problem is and the lady (on the phone) said she would get preferential treatment. Mr Motiang declined and demanded "DO YOU WANT TO JUMP THE QUEUE?????? NO I WILL NOT ALLOW IT!!!" My reply was "OK - we will find another ABSA branch - onr who got the message from ABSA HQ about old people - or I will take her to FNB". I took Ouma to ABSA Glen Faire. What a pleasant surprise!!! They got the message from ABSA HQ about treating old people. She got good and pleasant treatment and was out of the ABSA branch in no time. I kindly ask that ABSA HQ send the memo to mr Motiang AGAIN (maybe you need to phone him) - what an REALLY UNPLEASNAT EXPERIENCE.

Hi Lebogang,
Thank you for your note. The even worse outcome is below.

The branch manager of Absa Brooklyn phoned me to establish what the problem was. She explained to me what Mr Keleabetswe Motiang explained. He **** about the old people in the queue and his intention to assist Ouma. I set it right and explained his arrogance and behaviour/compassion towards old people. ("She will SIT in the queue").
The branch manager had a meeting with Mr Motiang and then phoned me back. She again apologized and informed me that Mr Motiang acknowledged that he was wrong. The branch manager further said: 1. There would be disciplinary action and 2. Mr Motiang would phone me back today to apologize.
It is now 19:45. Mr Motiang did not phone. This is a CLEAR indication of both Mr Motiang and ABSA's attitude of bullying of old people.
1. Mr Motiang did not phone - does this go unpunished ???? If he is still at Brooklyn Branch on Wednesday, it confirms the bullying tactics of ABSA.
2. The branch manager (THIS IS THE ABSA BEHAVIOUR) never checked that mr Motiang a) changed his behaviour b) Executed the instruction to phone me.
I think I start to get the picture now - the above is confirmation that Absa bullies old people.

Lebogang, I gave a compliment to Absa Glenfair. Would be so kind as to forward the initial conversation to them, please?
