Absa bank bad service

I have had such bad experiences with Absa that I closed my account but retained my insurance until I could not live with the bad service anymore. Now I can't get Absa to cancel my debit. I tried all available avenues but they will not help me. They eventually tell me that I must go to my bank every month and reverse the debit order. 🤔😏
