absa bank ATM deposit missing

<p>On 15 august 2016 I deposited accidentally R3000 at the Heidelberg mall absa ATM in the cheque slot( cash)I immediately went inside bank to report..I was constantly in contact with Heidelberg branch where I was told from its been corrected....then i wait...then not ...then phoning again ...then the atm department is still busy balancing.....from 15 aug i was told on 24 aug its finally resolved amd R3000 atm deposit will be corrected the same night or latest the next day.by Monday 29 Aug I STILL RECEIVED NO CORRECTION ON MY ACCOUNT.I drove from all the way back to Heidelberg to be told that O NO...the ATM balances but they cannot find my R3000 deposit.??????I do not understand?????yes it was deposited in the wrong slot but the MONEY MUST BE IN THE MACHINE.....?????SO WHERE ID IT???am I supposed to write off R3000???how is this even possible...</p>
