Absa Bank

I am having major difficulties solving banking problems with the Absa Bank. I reside in a retirement development and because of covid am in total lockdown unable to see relations or friends who would more than likely be able to help me. My knowledge of cmputers is very basic and very confusing.. I have spent hours on the phone (***) but its all about pressing the right option button and its not always clear to me which button should be pushed. Replies to emails advise that a consultant will be in touch with me but its now at least 3 weeks since I started trying to solve my problems. I managed to get cell phone banking but it can only be finalised by going into a branch, which is not possible. I am also trying to cancel a debit order, without success. I am also wanting copies of my and my husband's savings accounts sent to me monthly. I receive our credit card statements via email, so why not savings account? If you phone ***, no one answers. This is the number for the Knysna and Sedgefield branches. And to make matters even worse I am led to believe that our Sedgefield branch has been closed permanently My frustration levels are increasing All I want to do is speak to a helpful and competent person, not a computersed voice.
