Absa ATM's are faulty

On Friday 28 October i went to Absa ATM aiming to withdraw R3000 from my Credit Card account, however, the ATM showed a message that there is no sufficient funds in the machine. Suprisingly, i received a receipt showing that R3000 has been withdrwan from my account.

On Saturday 29 October i went to Absa nearest branch at Kwagga Centre in Pretoria west to register a complain ( Case Ref no: ********** ). i was told an investigation would take four (4) working days and findings would be shared with me.

On Thursday 03 November 2016 an SMS was sent to me saying "Absa regrets to advise that your claim has been declined. A repudiation letter will be sent via email" Nothing has been sent thus far. I would like to be provided with detailed report of what happened on that machine since i had the Credit Card with me. Furthermore i want to know what was done to investigate this matter.

Regards,

Ligege AS

**********

I do not believe there was ever an investigation, nevertheless, i will take the matter first to ********** before looking at other avenues.
