ABSA ATM no funds disbursed after withdrawal, however deducted from my bank account - No refund after 3 days!!!!

I’m not an ABSA client, on the 8th of September I had to make use of the ABSA atm to withdraw cash. The funds were deducted from my account however it wasn’t disbursed at the ATM. I received a receipt stating that the transaction was unsuccessful and the funds would automatically be reversed… 3 days later and no money had been paid back to me. I don’t understand this! I called ABSA they are telling me to take it up with my bank. I contacted my bank who said after I dispute the matter it will take 5 - 7 days… I’m absolutely livid!!!!
