Absa at The Grove in Pretoria East Is the worst!

Absa at The Grove Mall in Pretoria East is the worst branch! I visited the branch yesterday to find that I was 18th in line at Customer Services. For around 30 minutes there was only ONE person at that counter. After moving up 4 places in 45 minutes, I left the bank unable to wait for another 2 to 3 hours. While sitting in line I called the bank 3 times - no answer. I am currently on crutches and my leg is in a cast. I'm 69 years old and has been with Absa for 40+ years. There is no counter for pensioners, people with disabilities or people in wheelchairs or crutches who cannot stand at the counter. The lady 'managing' the front of the bank was not helpful, was unable to give any information on any of my questions and refered me to the bank app. Her excuse for the lack of a designated counter for pensioners..... We are a small branch!

There is a counter there but it is closed. Why have it if it is not in use? Absa, I will close all of my accounts, move all my debit orders and never recommend you to any South African. You bank fees are too high, you are understaffed (is it a cost cut!), cannot answer basic questions and seems too lazy to answer the phone.

I'M DONE WITH ABSA BANK! THE ONE AT THE GROVE MALL IS THE PITS!
