absa assisting s c a m m e r s
Recently we were s c a m m e d by a fictitious company called Woodland Furnishings in East London; funds were transferred into their ABSA bank account. We reported it to the police, and the case number was given to Discovery Bank for investigation. They contacted absa f r a u d, and we were informed that there is no money in the account, and tough luck. absa should not just shrug their shoulders; they should check their records for the deposit and take action against the account holder. What is the point of FICA if this is allowed by the banks? The company is still doing this - just have a look at this website for reviews. By taking no action absa is encouraging this behaviour.
