Absa are pathetic

I have a cheque acc with absa. I do not have an overdraft or chequebook. Just an account. Absa phined me last year Oct 2017 to make an arrangement for the outstanding monthly acc interest it was R900. I would make a R100 payment on that account until its paid up and no interest would be ask again. I sent them a affadavid that I do not have a job and can only pay until the R900 is paid up. They said they will attach a note on the account that it must be closed if the arrears are paid up. I sent 2 emails end of may to let them know i paid the R900 and the account must be closed. They sent me a email saying i must go and close it at the bank. They add another R458.26 on the account after they promised to close it. I do not have a car and I am unemployed. I told them many timesi canot make the payments anymore
