ABSA are ***** and ******* continued .....

Further the review written by me on 11 October 2020, regarding ABSA withdrawing R9972.12 from my savings account and apparently putting it into my credit card, without my knowledge or consent . (My credit card is on bank relief until the end of October)

On the 12 th I received an email from Basani Hlungwane Group Customer Care Absa Bank Ltd Stating that according to their records, I was due to start paying in September and offering to refund me 50% of what ABSA had taken. I rep**** to his email and accepted his terms. After numerous emails to the above, I have received no reply from ABSA and no refund either. In a nutshell, you accessed my savings account without my knowledge or consent, withdrew R9972.12 from it ( there was R13000 odd in the account at the time) made false promises to me with regard to refunding 50% and now I’m being ignored. ABSA we have all battled during Covid-19 ( which is still with us by the way) and October was the month things were starting to come right for me, until you took my money. What you have done is highly irregular to say the least. You have left a 60 Year old woman in a financial mess due to your greed and the incompetence of your staff. I want someone SENIOR to contact me, not Basani Hlungwane Group Customer Care Absa Bank Ltd And I want my money back! Have you seen the ad “ Is my money safe? At ABSA it is. “ Let me tell you, no your money is not safe at ABSA, I’m living proof of that! Btw the R9972.12 was taken as interest and does not reflect as a credit on my credit card.! ABSA like so many others, you have used COVID-19 to benefit yourselves...,
