Absa are **********
Absa are **********, unprofessional and dishonorable. They had taken money out of my account without even notifying me, thereby sending my account into overdraft and will probably now want to charge me again, as it was in overdraft for a few days. I found out by logging onto the app. This is the second time ***** was committed - previously my credit card facility was accessed and money drawn. Months went by without them providing feedback (each time I'd asked) regarding how the credit card facility security was breached. They still have not informed me how it happened to this day, even after assuring me an investigation was underway. Clearly there was no investigation and it was an inside job. This bank is *******.
whilst this response is welcomed, this withdrawing of my money without notification is ********. This causes me not to have faith in your system and I want to close my account with you.
This needs to be rectified as soon as possible as this is very ******** on Absa's part.
Regards,
Travis

Your investigation is clearly a farce. There is still not explanation as to why Absa withdrew money from my account and did not send me a notification, thereby sending my account into overdraft. The issue is, that because Absa had failed to send me a notification, my account was in overdraft for a week and I had no idea. This now gives this bank leeway to charge me further because my account was in overdraft, which is *********, and **********. Furthermore now, I find charges coming off here and there without any proper explanation, which is a further slap in the face. You need to understand that this is ***** and I require this issue to be rectified immediately. A proper explanation should be given as to why there is such a lack regard for customer satisfaction. I was emailed from Absa stating that I should contact you - clearly I am now being given the run around. And whenever I am told I will be contacted at a certain date, that never happens. That level of inefficiency boggles me.
Kindly do something about this immediately or I will be forced to elevate this. I need proper assurance and reporting given. And I do not want any further charges coming off for the bank's error in not sending me a notification SMS.
