ABSA archived statements
I would appreciate it is someone from ABSA Bank could clarify why it costs R60 per month for archived banking statements going back 15 years. Normal bank statements cost R7.5 per month. They tell me its costs R60 pm because the files are archived. Are ABSA s systems so archaic that it takes 10 staff members 50 hours to fetch statements which have been archived for 15 years ?
These statements are needed as evidence in a court case. The person requiring them cannot afford the RIDICULOUS fee of R11 000 for archived bank statements ! Its not just a nice to have. Its needed for legal proceedings. Where are ABSA`s work ethics. The person concerned needs HELP from Absa but all ABSA are interested in is making a quick buck off of their suffering ! The views expressed here are my personal opinion!
