ABSA app not allowing me to set up phone as primary device

A few days ago I set up my new cellphone as my verification device. I then used the app on the new cellphone to make payments and everything worked fine.

Yesterday I opened the app and suddenly the device isn't linked anymore. Now I don't have a verification device, and nothing that I do works on my new phone or old phone to get them verified. I just get "technical error" whenever I enter my ATM card number as part of the process.

What a **** bank and what an absolutely useless app. When it works it's okay, but when it doesn't work your stuck not being able to do anything.

How many app devs does ABSA have? Definitely can't be more than one or two....
