absa and woolworths confirmation letter of account closure

<p>Hi there,</p> <p> </p> <p>I seem do not understand why i have to call ABSA contact centre everyday requesting for conformation letter that i have closed my credit card account</p> <p>on monday i decided to do away with the ABSA cc card and was promised to recive letters within 24hrs, which i need to submit to a bank as i need to conclude homeloan application.</p> <p> </p> <p>my offer letter is expiring tomorrow, i have lost recoltion of calls i have made to contact centre to be sent from pillar to post. i need this letter sent to me ASAP as it seems to be the norm withl financial and retail businesses not to honor their end of the bargain few months down the line come back with owing balance that must be settled. there are things i would to conclude with same and over and above that we ae neaing festive season and the last thing i need is to later be informed that the card has been working without my knowledge.</p>
