Absa and Standard Bank - stay away!
ABSA and Standard Bank ( we call it STANDARD-**** ! ) are both HORROR banks from hell- stay away - arrogant, inefficient and very user unfriendly even-- go to NEDBANK ! The most important thing ( besides private Banker never calling you back) is immediate payment - the norm in the rest of the world - not happening in backwards South Africa Times are totally confusing and unrealistic, even immediate it takes up to 1 day !!! so why paying extra for that? There is no real customer service as no one cares - just hot talk
