Absa and my rights

On the 19th of May 2016 at 08h00 I wanted to withdraw money from my account for fuel. I could not get any money and the slip said I should visit my nearest branch for info. I went to the Nigel branch and while I was waiting for them to open I phoned Absa's head office. The told me there was a lock on my account because of FICA and transferred me after insisting..to Jacob Mojabelo in the FICA department. He said he will e-mail me documents to sign and in the interim he will unlock my account. I got the documents but my account was still locked. I phoned him back but he was not available. After a long conversation with enquiries at Nigel branch they took me to the manager and she advised me of the relevant documents that are needed to unlock my account. Now my husband was out of town and I could not withdraw any money to buy food that day. I was bysy writing exams and could only take the documents the next day..acoording to Maggie Bothma at the Nigel branch everything was in good order and she even showed me the status on my account that I was now properly FICA'd. She told me that my account was now unlocked. I was writing exams and after that I wanted to withdraw money but was not able to as my account was still locked. I phoned Lillian at the Nigel branch and she said it will be unlocked after they ran their "backup" later that day and that I should be able to withdraw money then. It is now Monday..my account is still locked. I could not buy any food over the weekend and have to borrow money to get to Unisa for my exams this morning. Absa does not care about their clients...I had no warning that my account is going to be locked..no sms..no letter..no phone call..NOTHING! My constitutional rights have been taken away...I have been embarrassed and humiliated. How long is Absa still going to keep me from allowing me to withdraw money for fuel..food etc. This is pathetic!!!!!
