ABSA and Innovation Group need to catch a wake up

This has got to be the needle that broke the camel's back. It appears that either ABSA or Innovation Group (neither is willing to own up on their mistake) has become the worst business that I have dealt with. I confirmed that I would like an extended motor service plan on 12 February 2020. When the time came for my vehicle to be serviced, it turns out that there is nothing in place!

So following all the way to the email that started this whole display of incompetence, it takes a few calls to ABSA, where no one is really interested in assisting. Every single person that I spoke to just sort of did the "*shrug*, sorry I can't help you" thing. Eventually I got posted back to Innovation and after an entire day and a half, they just referred me back to ABSA. This after I pointed out so dutifully to them (from the first email!!!) the reference number, telephone number used, sent a copy of the documentation received (Note once again I did this in the first email.).

I had to repeat myself so many times and I obliged as I figured they have no clue how to read the trail of emails sent to them. I have 13 pieces of correspondence on ONE email thread.

This is not the first time that I have had trouble with ABSA. They allowed an amount of almost R18 000 to be debited from my cheque account in 2017 and to this day are not returning it with a lot of bureaucratic hogwash as their excuse. And there's drama with my credit card as well.

Luckily I transferred my banking from them. Unfortunately my vehicle is being financed by them and I have to bear with that (Oh yeah - they messed there as well - last year some time and now that the account is in arrears with a measly R9000 - their fault it's my problem)

Someone needs to own up and fix their problems. I'm really so fed up with this so called good banking institution - Man their service stinks as far as I'm concerned.

Obviously this is just me venting a I know that they will not be doing anything about the matter - have done this before, but at least it might convince just ONE consumer to avoid using their "services".
