Absa and Combi card has prohibitive holds - no one to help

Absa British Airways Credit Cards has discontinued their 'Mastercard', and issued a 'Visa' card. Firstly, I don't recall seeing any communication to this effect. Apparently there was fine print on a statement. Secondly, after 2 hours on the phone being sent from Internet banking to Credit card banking. Back to Internet banking. To 3D banking. Back to Internet banking. Waiting for a supervisor who never answered. Back to internet banking, I was referred to a branch. So much for being able to link and unlink accounts simply via the internet and a banking app. The error I get - combi card has prohibitive holds...sigh....
