ABSA allows ***** on your account

This morning, or should I say what a bad morning. My friend received a sms saying that neado opsporing debietorder took money from her account for the amount of 399.00.

Apparently this is absa function that allows random people to debit your account for dept. But the thing is she doesn’t owe anybody this amount.

How can you allow this??? the when she phones the ***** line they tell her to go into the bank. This is bull because it is her money and she should have signed a consent form for you take off money or you should have informed her, why does she pay you service fees? So the bank allows people to commit random debit orders. This is lekker. They allow *****.

Not only this. But on payday she cant access her money because she has to fica with no prior notification they the frozen her account for a few days. A bank should have allowed her to access her money and inform her in a professional way.

How is she gonna get back her money and who is going to pay for the debit order fees? This is not how a bank should work.

Her whole life she has been with absa and they don’t even have the decency to phone her back when applying for a credit card but another bank could give her one. Pefetic service from absa.
