Absa AIMS and Debt rescue

Ok. So my 63 year old mother went under debt review last month and all documents were sent about new banking details and so on. So her pension was paid into her old absa account which had an overdraft. Then as opposed to getting R11000 she got 10 023. So I got onto debt rescue who was happy to help. Her pension is paid by AIMS, which is a part of Absa. We managed to get R9000 transferred into new account. What about the rest.? So debt rescue sent me an email on the 27th February ( and I won't mention the *********** consultants name, she knows who she is) stating that Absa would refund R1000 in seven working days, we must send documents. Now as far as I know , debt rescue has all my documents, bank statements etc, and by "we" who did she mean? Was it me or debt rescue that had to send the documents? She was not very specific in stating who we is. Regardless of that, she did no follow up with my mother. 7 working days passed, no refund. So I got other departments involved at debt rescue, two amazing individuals got on the matter. No apology from *********** consultant. But an email stating that it would take another 7 days. I was livid. As this is an elderly ladies money they are messing with. Fast forward to yesterday. I decided I'm not waiting for debt rescue, and emailed absa myself. I asked what the status is of the transfer and 7 working days being this coming Friday, asked if it would be in, I got a response with a reference number, and was told told a consultant would get back to me. No one did. Emailed again today, no response.

Ontop of all that, my late grandfather's wife died, so my mom asked me to email the executor her banking details, and inquire on how long the process would take. Take a guess, it's done through absa. So I did as my mom asked, as she is old and sickly, and can't really do these things herself anymore, and I have power of attorney over most her dealings. Emailed sent, and no reply.

Absa and aims are driving me mad, good at taking your money, but not refunding when they mess up, also lack serious communication, don't seem to know how to respond to emails and get matters sorted speedily.R2000 off my mom's pension is not something she can afford and it's has set her back horribly. She went to debt rescue to get out of debt, but because of one *********** consultant there, she has had to borrow money from friends to see the month out, it defeats the purpose of going under debt review. Once the review process is done with and it's all paid up, I think that Absa account will be closed and I think my mom will also take her pension from aims and put it somewhere else. It's disgusting how they have handled matters to a woman who has been a loyal client for over 20 years. Makes me sick . Both my mom and I have taken just about as much as we can from Absa and aims. Their lack of communication is appauling
