ABSA - Admin fees charged??

I have settled the full amount outstanding on my Personal Loan (considered an overdraft with ABSA). I received my settlement letter on 12/07/2023, paid the settlement amount on 13/07/2023. I sent an e-mail on 14/07/2023 (with the proof of payment) and instructed the account to be closed and a paid up & closed letter through to myself. I never received the letter and when I checked the account yesterday, it is not closed. ABSA even took admin fees on 01/08/2023 on this account -- leaving it that I now owe them money.
