Absa Activate Insurance App *****!

I changed my insurance recently to Activate by Absa. The insurance is fine but the App is pathetic. It does nothing. It worked for a while but afterward it just stopped opening. I called their call centre 3 days ago and was told a technician will call me but I am still waiting for the call. The emergency assist function I can only access via the app and seeing as the app is not working that makes that function unavailable. I had to install a telematics device to have this benefit but how does this help me when I am in an emergency. I feel Absa is in breach of contract as why must I pay for an option that I will never get to use. I am also suppose to be able to log claims and be able to track them via the app but obviously cannot do this. And who knows if the rewards I was supposed to be accumulating is actually doing so.

I have had problems with the app since installation. And if you read the reviews on the google play store it is all negative. Yet nothing has been done to date.

Absa needs to relook some of its policies in terms of this app and provide its customers with alternative means to access all the benefits as the app is pure trash.
