Absa ,Absa insurance , negative 5 ,

Hellopeter should start with negative ratings as this is what my experience was with Absa. 18 March 2021 , pipe burst in my house , water flowing from my kitchen into my lounge and bathroom , Assesors came 20th Name Francois from Digicall assessment, he does his assessment and noted the cupboards got damaged, i inform him about the water thats under the tiles , he tells me its normal , how can water under tiles be normal , My contractor does a assessment he noted tiles are becoming loose and as the subfloor is wet , Absa assesor Francois send Calafornia carperts to asses the damage floor , he notes the water caused the wooden floor to lift and the floor starts cupping , Numerous emails to Nonkululeko, no response , eventually after my previous complaint they settle a cash payment for the cupboards and lounge floors , My claim for the tiles which lifted , the kitchen door and frame which was swollen rejected, Mould on my walls rejected , the assesor claim its not related to the water damage, and that its due to faulty workmanship, this is done by a 2nd assesor few weeks later after we had to remove the tiles to dry the subfloor,So the tiles didn't lift on its own or the door didn't swell on its own something caused it ....water damage...., i took a video of the floor which was flooded in water , as well as photos this was send to Absa , Jason Govende and the complaints team. A week since the rejection and no feedback has been given to me , i made contact with *** who emailed Jason and he said the assesors was busy this was 2 days ago , no feedback since then. I dont know what to do anymore , i regret having my house bonded and insured with Absa , i should have taken the bond from FNB , This is what you get from Absa Increase stress levels Mouldy walls Swollen doors Tiles lifting No response Poor communication Who ever reads this review i hope you think twice before signing on the line , i wish hellopeter had negative marks.

No need to , i received a response from Jason Govender.... "He had also done a moisture test and found that the slab is damp which he believes is a persistent problem and unrelated to the leaking pipe" so where is the dampness coming from why would the tiles lift, you guys will look for any reason not to pay , no wonder there is a #******banksmustfall on twitter , now i know why.
