ABSA a law onto their own - *****ing money from the deceased

Having lost both her mother and husband in a short space of time I assisted my mother in law to be appointed executor as per the wills as well as registering this with the Master of the High Court as the assisting registered accountant is the process. Having completed the legal requirements such as opening Estate Late Accounts I approached ABSA to have the deceased accounts closed and the funds therein transferred to the Estate Late Accounts (Which is with FNB)
This is where the problems started. I firstly attended ABSA Horison Branch and was told by the branch manager Ms Ronel Kieve that they do not accept the original power of attorney and other original documents and thus refuse to close the Absa Accounts.
My mother in law herself attended the ABSA branch in Nigel to close the accounts and she was told they also do not accept the appointment as executor and refuses to close the accounts.
The issues was the submitted to ABSA complaints resolution centre under case numbers [EC: 1490b506] & [EC: c65fd000] & RE-CASE REF: ********** . Firstly Ms Claudette Lewis refused to be of assistance, save for an email stating they will investigate, and never came back as to the next step.
After numerous follow-ups I finally spoke to Ms Yolanda Viljoen, purportedly the CEO of the Complaints department, to whom the matter had been “escalated” to. Her attitude was simply we do not accept a power of attorney and we will deal with your money as we wish. She also stated “I do not want to talk to you as we do not accept your legal power of attorney and we will only deal with who we feel like. By implication she accused me of ***** as this was her apparent excuse for refusing to deal with me.
Bottom line is watch out absa customers they are going to use your money to defend ******** charges, civil claims and explaining to the Highest Court in the land as to why they feel that the Constitution of South Africa can be trampled on by absa.
IT IS MY CONTENTION THAT ANYBODY WHO DEALS WITH ABSA MUST HAVE THEIR HEAD READ. You are never going to get service, and probably your money back, and they will be hiding behind phones and unanswered emails.

Reviewer Update

You can twist it as much as you like but if you actually read the review my mother in law PERSONALLY ATTENDED YOUR BRANCH.

if absa made a mistake JUST ADMIT IT AND FIX IT. Stop blaming other people and also stop pretenting to be "holier than thow" .

It is not solving the problem it is exaserbating it!!!!!
