ABSA 3rd party payments

Interesting to note that money payments from Absa to another bank take a long time. I paid an employee R3000 on the 21 April 2019 . He received the money on 24 April 2019 Somebody is making money on the interest of the money already taken from the account and "held" for 3 -4 days before the 3rd party receives payment Given Absa extremely poor service and functionality I would think that this ridiculous time to transfer money to another bank is intricately tied into ABSA poor and unprofessional management - who else??
