A massive increase in my home loan account

I have a home loan account with Absa and i received a statement last month and it shows a massive increase in my interest charges, which led to R380K. I send my query to home loan department but no-one seemed to care and respond to my queries. How can the interest charges increase to that amount for four (4) months???
