I got retrenched by SAA in 2020. Today I found out that I had retrenchment cover form ABSA at the time. I was a private banking client. I also found that I had 3 months to claim this benefit. Obviously I didn't claim it. I am miffed that I didn't hear a peep out of ABSA about my potential payout. They knew SAA was retrenching and they knew that I wasn't receiving a salary from SAA any longer.

Only Premium and Gold customers qualify for this.
