My parents settled their bond in 2009, ABSA was told that there will be no need to continue with the insurance as no one is working in the house. The were lots of papers signed so we thought all is fine. 11th July a guy from ABSA repossession department says we owe Absa, 7yrs later ABSA contact my parents.

1. Why were my parents not contacted on the first premium that was unpaid?

2. Why did ABSA wait so many years to contact my parents?

3. Who is suppose to pay this money?

My parents are not working, mom has never worked in her life and dad retired early, they survived by myself and my brother.

I am really disappointed and angry that old people should be taken advantage of like this. I will actually would like anyone from the media to contact me so people can be aware .

Kind regards

Lucy

********** 177
