6 months purchases deducted from cheque account

On 11 Sept I got notification of 31 purchases that went off my cheque account. These purchases went back to April. Funds were reserved for each purchase and now my account is in the minus. So much for paying off ones debt and then your own bank cause you to be in more debt than ever before. I went to the bank on 12 Oct to log a complaint. I'm still waiting to hear from them. How long must we wait before this is resolved? Not even one sms or message from Absa to explain or apologise. We are all kept in the dark...
