It so disappointing as young black women we have to go through this being abused by Absa bank. We started business in 2021 funded by Absa bank for an asset finance and if you know business you will understand starting from zero capital, no cash flow is not a joke. We were struggling as any other business and things started to get worse in 2022 and later that year they served us with summons from the high court and luckily we paid up the outstanding amount. We continue with normal installments until last year 2023 October they served us with the same summons that we received in 2022 and in January 2024 they cancelled our agreement and put judgment without us being notified. We only find out that we have a judgment when our Banker was doing a follow up because there was no communication. I never recommend any black young professional to use or get funding through Absa when they starting business. After the cancellation of the agreement they gave us three months to pay all the outstanding amount knowing very well the company cannot pay an amount of R 260 000 per month.
