3 months of trying to claim insurance benefits on personal loan and absolutely no communication, nothing!!!!!!!

I am writing this today out of total desperation as I don't know what else to do anymore. I have been retrenched for 3 months and I've been trying to apply for my benefits/insurance on my personal loan for the exact same amount of time. I have submitted all my relevant documents 3 times now and nothing has happened even though they promise to revert back to me within 15 days.

For 2 months money has been deducted off my account for my personal loan even though I'm RETRENCHED and can't afford it. The consultant I liased with told me that the personal loans department will see that a benefit claim is in progress and they won't do the debit order, and yet they continued as usual.

I don't know what else to do anymore. I've been paying for insurance on top of my personal loan for the last 3 years and yet when I finally need that insurance I just get ignored and they continue taking my money even though I have nothing left.

Please can someone in management sort out this issue as that insurance on the loan is supposed to protect people during retrenchment, not make them more broke. I surely hope that Absa will also reverse those payments deducted as I can't afford to pay my vehicle instalment without that R2000.
