1 STAR BECAUSE NO STAR ISN'T AN OPTION

Absolute *******. I tried to close my accounts due to shocking service from ABSA Private Bank. They have made it impossible. Eventually I was told I had to go in to a branch, however the only thing I got from the branch was a reference number. A further week later I was contacted to inform me ABSA required a deposit of R380 to close the account - an account with a nil balance! No explanation of what the charge was for was provided. I paid the ******ion money, only to be contacted and told an additional 97 cents was required.

I have paid your 97 cents ABSA, go buy yourself something nice.

Now close my accounts!
