A MUST READ to have a successful PROJECT, if you have to work with these guys:

Split unit AC relocation:

Hi I requested a quote for relocating a split AC system from the kitchen to the study. The Technician team was professional and well-mannered. They did not have all their equipment to finish the job as it was on short notice.

Now, common sense would tell everybody that any person reading this will request for a full job (and I covered the bases) - 1 - relocate AC unit 2 - *wiring and connection installation 3 - drain pipe installation 4 - close outside holes (who would want holes in their house to find another company to close it, right?)

The complete package, right? [we all try to stick with one panel beater for example. We do not want to go looking for clips to attach a panel to your car, that's why you approach a panel beating company - to complete it, make sense right?]

*In this case I requested all except for nr 2 (as I knew that would be a big job and I someone else for that).

After the 1st visit, I receive another quote for about R900+ for completing the job (R600 for extra labour)..... How would this happen I ask...?? The lady working there is difficult to work with and I canceled the 2nd quote.

This job ends up with them dropping off a section of PVC pipe for the drain.

I am left with: 1 - 2 holes in the house 2 - no drain pipe installed for the internal AC unit 3 - an AC unit that "hopefully" have enough gas in (as it could not be tested at the time because of the weather, but was not tested on delivery of the PVC pipe).

Since this company do not follow your instructions but tend to stick to the written quote (and tend to do "lazy lines" on their quotes for, example "sundries"):

I suggest that everybody out there that want to use their service MUST DEFINE EACH SPECIFIC detail on your quote or you will risk being in my situation.
