Extremely POOR Workmanship

Above Board Joinery are not carpenters. They are con-artists who claim to be carpenters. Their workmanship is shoddy, their timelines for delivery are not kept, and the communication between themselves and the client is non-existent. I commissioned a small coffee table to be made, which had to be sent back because of a number of defects. The end result was equally disappointing. When confronted about the bad workmanship, the owner, Philip Linley, accepted responsibility and promised to refund the table. I am still waiting more than 3 months later for my refund. At first, he claimed to not have any money to even support himself let alone refund me, but on subsequent occasions he ignored my messages. It's a great pity because I offered to help him sell the table which would leave him only the balance to pay back, but nothing. He has basically done a runner on me.

Be very careful about commissioning any work through Above Board Joinery.
