ABSOLUTE CHARLATAN!

Able Appliance Repairs was advertised in the North Glen News. We contacted them on 3rd Jan and spoke to Glen, who was very personable initially. We needed our Bosch dishwasher repaired, which he said they could do. They required payment upfront of R2650 which we paid. He took our dishwasher away and brought it back that same week, stating that it was now fixed, however it was still faulty. He came back several times insisting it was fine and insinuating that we were not operating it correctly. Weeks went by and eventually he said he must take it away again. This was in February. We haven’t seen him or our machine since (it is now 30 March!). He has blocked my calls but still takes calls from our landline and my husband’s phone. When we do manage to get hold of him he is rude, shouts at us and cuts our calls. Effectively he has ****** our dishwasher. We also paid him R920 to fix one of our TVs which he returned unfixed with a promise of a refund into our account. Of course we are still waiting for this. In summary Able Appliance Repairs has ****** R3570 of our money as well as our dishwasher. We will be laying a charge of theft against them. These people are ******* – do not use their services!
