I was advised recovery would take about one week and that scarring was unlikely. My recovery was significantly longer and more difficult, with prolonged pain, swelling, burning and itching. I required GP and dermatologist care at additional personal cost, and several months later my skin remains sensitive and I have developed visible scarring. In my opinion, Ablase should not be considered minimally invasive for everyone. I strongly recommend seeking independent medical advice before proceeding. I have remained in contact with the owner/practitioner, who does not practise permanently in my area and provides treatments while travelling. Follow-up was therefore conducted remotely, with the option of an in-person consultation if/when future travel permitted. I will not be pursuing further procedures. The purpose of this review is not to seek remedial treatment, but to provide contextual information to assist others in making informed decisions.
