Myself and a friend recently stayed at Abiento Guesthouse Bloemfontein

During the course of our stay, our rooms were never cleaned, we had an emergency one night where the gates remote stopped working and we were unable to access the guesthouse and as a consequence our rooms, when I contacted the after hours person on duty she said that she stays far and could not assist us and said that we would have to figure ourselves what we’ll do as she is too far and can’t assist even suggesting that we wait it out as morning is not far, we then had to make our own plan and was never assisted properly

A few days after checking out, they contacted us asking if we might have accidentally taken the aircon remote to which we rep**** no and Abiento Guesthouse then made it very clear that we had one option, we have to pay for a new remote, I tried to keep open communication with them and they dragged out the process, they demanded payment and persistently called both me and my friend even after we informed them that we did not have the remote and that they should look for it. They the threatened us with the police and used racial slurs when demanding payment
