Abacus/pep insurance is unreliable

Abacus insurance /pep insurance has been delaying payments, we made a claim on the 26th of November. We still waiting for the payment, we had to borrow money to bury my grandmother, when we call them, they say it has been approved and should have paid out but to date no payment
