Unhappy Client

This was by far one of the most disturbing and uncomfortable places I’ve ever stayed in. What was meant to be a relaxing weekend in Burgersfort quickly turned into something I couldn’t wait to escape from.

Firstly, I felt completely unsafe as a woman. I was subjected to inappropriate stares, disturbing comments, and behavior that can only be described as ***ual harassment. The fact that this happened in full view, without any intervention from the hosts or management, is unacceptable and deeply unsettling. At no point did I feel protected, respected, or like I was in a space where my wellbeing mattered.

Secondly, the property itself is in no condition to be hosting guests. It’s practically a construction site — noise, dust, exposed areas, and building materials everywhere. There’s constant interruption from the hosts and workers, no privacy, and definitely no peace.

The mosquito problem was unbearable, and there was no effort made to manage it. I barely slept because I was being eaten alive the entire night. As if that wasn’t enough, the air-conditioning was either broken or barely functioning, making the stay even more miserable.

I honestly felt blushed with relief when I left — and that says it all. No one should have to feel this uncomfortable, unsafe, or disrespected while paying for accommodation. The entire experience was intrusive, chaotic, and emotionally draining.

This place should be temporarily closed and removed from every booking platform until they fix the environment, restore basic safety and comfort standards, and seriously reconsider how they engage with guests — especially women.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. Zero stars. Absolutely unacceptable.
