NOT usually my style but my network needs to be forwarned. Bad show A&B Movers. ABMovers
** ****** & Broken items. I used this company to move my household items from Durban in 2018 into their storage in Cape Town. I was never pre-advised that if I wanted to access the items (to start sorting/removing etc.) there would be a charge of R450 p/hour. 3 years later I eventually moved everything out of their storage in one go. On delivery, I was advised that in 2018, when they originally moved my stuff from Durban, my dining room table was broken but "not to worry it was fixed". It then turned out this wasn't even my table and they were delivering the wrong items to my address. A "hanging nest chair" was also brought into my place which wasn't mine which I advised them to take out together with the wrong table. Two weeks after they left (as I slowly unpacked and cleaned out) I realized a box of financial paperwork info not belonging to me was also delivered incorrectly. More and more as I unpacked I noticed broken, scuffed items and/or items missing. My toolbox for example which was on the delivery note was delivered, but the drilling machine was missing from inside.
I would certainly NOT recommend using them.

03 Dec 2020, 13:58Oh Nelson its been so long since we receive a bad report.I will investigate what went wrong. KZN branch was closed in 2019 so not sure why you had goods that did not belong to you.Our sincere apologies.i hope you have owners insurance cover and praying you can claim from them.

03 Dec 2020, 16:59I think you need to check your Google reviews as there have been a number of complaints within the last 12 months. Also to note my items were moved away from Durban in 2018 so naturally, before your KZN branch closed so items were obviously incorrect at that stage.
With service levels and replies of this nature, I can foresee more closures soon. Passing the buck onto insurance doesn't absolve you and your responsibility to take care of items customers are paying you to look after or transport.
