REFUSAL TO REFUND DEPOSIT

Never being to Aasvoelkrans Resort before, I googled website, emailed them and received a swift reply requesting more detail. I informed them that we will be 6 adults and 4 children, which later changed to 6 adults only and we will be camping in tents and that I would require one stand. I received the invoice and although only 4 people are allowed per stand (in quoted price), additional people on stand @ R110 per night were allowed. We had to pay deposit within 3 days, which later changed to 24hours! We paid deposit in good faith, but still went to look a week later. Tent stands were not even big enough to host a dome tent and your car. It was obvious that stands were halved to accommodate more people and husband pointed that out. Not even when we pointed out that we won't be able to put 2 tents on stand, did the lady mention we can ONLY HAVE 1 TENT on a stand, suggested booking an additional site. I got call next week - they made mistake, double booked us and want to move us - we took that as queue to cancel booking. Based on above we requested deposit back BUT they refuse-will only refund in death and severe illness! GUESS THAT'S HOW THEY MAKE THEIR MONEY!!!
