I was given ticket for taxi drivers mistake

I was driving to work and the traffic was a bit slow on the Xavier off ramp. I was driving on the slow lane which merge with the Xavier off ramp. the taxi driver was on the second lane and turned in front of me as i am driving on the right lane (N1) I swift the car behind the taxi driver and as a result i was stopped by officer Simelane M.Y who forced me to agree that i went over the yellow lane. I tried to explained to her and that the taxi in front of me went over the yellow lane and not me. She was not even sure what happened and called the next officer she was with to ask him if i did go over the lane or not. The male officer just said \He went over the lane
