I am devastated very devastated

My mom had a life cover with Metropolitan however it did not have a beneficiary and I don't understand how someone can give a life cover with that amount of money without a beneficiary in it. So because that amount is more is out side the bracket that can be assisted without an attorney my sister's and I needed one. We looked through my mother's things and we found LIPCO she was paying them monthly. So I called them and explained the situation this was in 2023 then I asked i they can refer us to someone in Cape Town and they referred us to aarninkhof attorneys. This was in March last year up until today we did not get any payment this is what they lady always says "Good morning I trust that you are well Just to give a brief update as to where we are I am awaiting approval for the L&D still - once I get that we can advertise and pay but I am also just awaiting the status of sars then we good to go". I have reached out to LIPCO since they referred us to them and they said something about 4 moths on the 9th of October its going to be that 4 moths so once she sends this i know there won't be any payment received. I am tired because I told this lady the reason we changed from the other lawyer we had before them. MY MOTHERS MONEY WAS PAID TO THEM ON THE 14TH OF JULY 2024 SO THAT MONEY IS NOW A YEAR WITH THEM AND SHEHAS BEEN WORKING ON THIS CASE FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS NOW WITH THE SAME UPDATE THAT SAY SHES ADVERTISING THE L&D ACCOUNT AND SOMETHING ABOUT SARS. This is beyond my stress levels because I am the one who referred my sisters here. Who do I talk to from here if this lady have my mother's money and always tells us the same thing there's no progress here all I hear is excuses excuses
