Great service

We recently bought a house and it had a borehole, but we were uncertain of the integrity of the borehole. We contacted Aardbor Drilling and they came to rehab, clean out and possibly re"case" the borehole. After much effort and noise, bad news was the borehole was dry and did not produce any water.

Aardbor immediately asked us if we would consider drilling a new borehole. We took 2 days to decide, all while they left their equipment and trucks on our property. They issued a quote. We agreed on a very attractive market related price, and they set off drilling. They got someone out from Jhb to come show them the water with fancy machines and scanners.

Aardbor drilled to 60m and we found a decent enough amount of water for household use. (The old borehole was 80m deep). We can now fill our pool and irrigate our garden straight out the hole.

As a review of the company, they were professional, on time, and above all transparent with the whole process. It is a dirty business, but nothing beats the water blowing out higher than our roof!!!!

Aardbor came in a few days later with a small bakkie and 2 labourers and cleaned the site, removed the rubble and dried up mud, and after the borehole pump was installed, they used our own borehole water to wash and clean the mess.

I wouldnt want to go through the stress of drilling another borehole, (not knowing if I am going to loose money or not if theres water or not), but I felt rest assured the whole time with the right crew.

The best of all is - they did not even charge us for the initial work done on the old borehole.
