Worst Service ever
On the 7 th of July 2017 i was involved in car accident in a small town called Middeldrift in the Eastern Cape. Shortly after that i reported the accident to AAA claim company, who called out for a tow truck to tow the vehicle to King Williams Town. The next morning i reported the accident to the nearest police station in middeldrift. Once i had received the AR ( accident report number) i then phoned AAA claims company to report the accident and lodged a claim.I was told to call on the Monday the 10th July 2017 as the claims department dont work on weekends. He made the call on Monday to AAA claims company and I was told a consultant will call me back, which they did and she request documentation from me. The following day, I sent all the documentation that she required. On the 15th July 2017 I received an email from Kauther Abrahams a Junior claims handler telling me that the vehicle was declared a write off and that a Loss adjuster was appointed to call me for more information. On the 19th July 2017 Mike De kock the loss Adjuster called me as an introductory call. Only on the 31st July 2017 did he send me an email requesting further documentation which i submitted to him the following day. Since then i have been calling him on a weekly basis to follow up on the progress. On the 21st August 2017, he told me that he had submitted his report to AAA claims and that he was asked to come in that day to discuss the claim. later that week i called the Junior claims handler and couldn't get a hold of her. On the 28th August 2017 i called the Junior claims handler and finally got to speak to her. She told me she had not revived any feedback from the Loss Adjuster as yet. I then called the Loss Adjuster that day and he was unavailable. I sent him and email and left messages for him to call me back, he didnt. The following day i eventually got ahold of him and he told me that the report was back in his hands and he had to finalize the report, that AAA claims company should give me feedback by 30th August 2017 which has not happened to date. The installments go off on the 15th of every month. August was debited and i had not used the vehicle from the 7th July 2017. I am extremely upset and who knows, if this continues it could get to the 15th September with out being resolved. The vehicle is a 2011 Ford ranger 2.5LWD P/U S/C. It is financed under my mothers name Mrs TB Luthuli and i was a secondary driver.
