I have been a victim of this **** of R99 being deducted off my bank account, which is FNB. These ********** sent an SMS saying a debit order has been created and R99 will be debited. Then there's a telephone number with a reference number to call and query, which is non existent, by the way. ********** are very clever to deduct R99 as with most banks SMS are not sent to customers for transactions under R100. This is the third time unauthorised debit orders of this amount has gone off my account. How does the bank authorise these debit orders with any notifications from us , the consumers? I won't even bother calling FNB customer service centre or ***** hotline as they put you on hold for almost 30 minutes to 45 minutes, quite expensive considering calling from a cell phone. I'm hoping that these ********** will be caught and dealt with as not everyone has time to look at our bank statements. Thank you.
