DON"T USE BEST PLUMBERS, KEMPTON PARK.

I contacted Best Plumbers in Kempton Park to test the tenants guizer after he complained that the water was not getting hot. They went to the house and whilst there I phoned there office to ask them to check if the guizer was still in warranty.

I overheard the lady speak with the person sent out to the house and he rep**** that it was out of warranty. When the guizer was removed to fit the new one I drove there and whilst at the house noted that the guizer was still in warranty. I called the manufacturer and told him what had happened. I asked if they would come to the house and fit a new one on warranty, he said once a plumber has touched it there is no longer a warranty on the unit and I have no claim. Best Plumbers quoted over R9000.00 to change a guizer that would have been changed free of charge had I been given the correct information! I had used Best Plumbers a number of times prior to this, however I will now no longer recommend them to anybody after this very costly episode which left a very bitter taste in my mouth. It is very simple to read the dates on a guizer and I strongly recommend that when you have a guizer problem this is the first line of action.
