Six months later, and still no payment.

On 25 August 2017 I had goods collected by Barry for auction. On the day, I received an inventory of goods collected, but no further information on the steps to follow. After several calls to their offices, I was finally told that the goods would go to auction the following week. Fast forward six months and numerous calls and emails later, and I have yet to receive an actual answer instead of the usual excuses ranging from staff being ill, waiting on their accountants, to - wait for it - being struck by lightning. This auction house may not be a member of SAIA, but this fact does not exempt them from the auspices of the Consumer Protection Act, nor the long arm of the National Consumer Commission.
